I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida (License #MH13836) with a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Florida Gulf Coast University.
I counsel individuals, couples, and family members age 21 & over in a comfortable and private office in Naples, FL. I also offer sessions through telephone and through an online, HIPPA-approved confidential telehealth site. Counseling sessions focus on creating positive change in current experience while also addressing long-held behavioral patterns, thoughts, and beliefs. This comprehensive approach ignites and supports lasting transformation.. My theoretical orientation is integrative, with appropriate interventions chosen for each client and issue. My approach incorporates Internal Family Systems, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma processing, mindfulness, somatic work, existential therapy, creative visualization, and narrative therapy. I counsel within a holistic and developmental approach, meaning experiences are explored within the full context of a person's life story and that information is valued from many different sources in a person's life. I am pleased to work within a spiritual or faith-based framework for individuals and couples who find that helpful. I also collaborate, when clinically indicated and with client consent, with other health professionals to coordinate care. |
